Questions
What flooring options work best for Houston's climate?
We recommend luxury vinyl plank, engineered hardwood, and commercial-grade carpet that handle humidity and temperature changes effectively.
How long does a typical installation take?
Most residential projects complete in 2-10 days depending on scope and material type, with clear timelines provided upfront.
Do you offer warranties on installations?
Yes, we provide both manufacturer product warranties and our own workmanship warranty for all flooring projects.
Can laminate flooring be installed in bathrooms?
Modern water-safe laminates work well in moisture-prone areas when installed using manufacturer-approved methods.
What's the difference between solid and engineered hardwood?
Solid hardwood is single-piece construction, while engineered wood has a real wood veneer over plywood for better stability in humid conditions.
Do you handle furniture moving during installations?
We assist with small furniture pieces at minimal charge, but recommend professional movers for larger items.

Wont install what they can't sell. Even if it's the exact same brand. They say " We can't warrant it", I replied "don't need any warranty, just a good job done." They then said we won't install anything we don't sell.

Requires time and attention? You took 3 minutes and didn't not even say goodbye, and stole my phone in the process.

We worked with Sandy at Floors Etcetera again, this time to custom cut Shaw Bellera pet-friendly carpet into a large area rug (9' x 15') and long runner (2.5' x 28') to help preserve our dogs' joints. While we love the beauty of our hardwoods that Floors Etcetera refinished years ago, they look even more exquisite accessorized with these gorgeous rugs. We should have done it sooner!

I am happy with the job these guys did. Laminate was laid with no imperfections. Especially happy with the job around the fire place, which for me would have been a nightmare. Easy to communicate with and would recommend to others.
