Our history has a humble beginning, starting in 1954 when the firm's founder, Ray Williams, began out by peddling hardwood from his truck. With little money and no warehouse, his truck was loaded at the mill and then hand unloaded at personal job sites. Ray literally went from one new housing allotment to another until empty, then back to the mill to reload.
