Westwood Flooring is a family owned and operated business for two generations. The late Patrick J. McCarney began his small flooring company after arriving from Ireland over 50 years ago. He worked out of his home and kept things simple, but precise. He passed on his European craftsmanship and business ethics to his only son, Patrick.
Carpet continues to be one of the most popular flooring choices for many consumers for a number of reasons. Carpet adds beauty and style to any room. Today, there are thousands of colors to consider. It can be a neutral foundation or a focal point with bold colors and dramatic patterns and textures.
Now that you've selected your new flooring, we will schedule a professional installation. To make this installation as smooth as possible, we have prepared a pre-installation checklist. Here you'll find general guidelines that should be followed prior to the installation of your new flooring. Make arrangements prior to the arrival of the installation crew for removal of old flooring.

We had an amazing visit with Billy at Westwood Floors in Wilton yesterday. My wife announced immediately that we were wanting to look at samples to use in our new South Carolina house, and we would not be purchasing from him. Rather than walking away or ignoring us, Billy was a tremendous help. He showed us numerous lines, painstakingly detailed the difference between sand in place wood, pre-finished wood, engineered wood and various types of other options.
He answered all of our questions and sincerely wanted to help us despite absolutely nothing to benefit him or his store in return. If they treat non-customers this way, I can only imagine what they would do for a viable customer. Definitely visit their showroom slightly north of Wilton if you have any flooring needs. Kent Holden

Found this place through yelp and decided to go with them based off reviews. Super friendly and knowledgeable. Got everything done in one day. Ripped up all the carpet in my fully carpeted condo and put down Vinyl. Beautiful color and the guys were great that installed it. Efficient and quick. Will was super communicative. Would highly recommend!

10/10 would recommend! Billy and the team provide amazing customer service from start to finish with a beautiful finished product. They are attentive, responsive, and willing to work with you (especially for a first time renovator like myself). I will definitely be using them again and recommend them highly -so much so that my parents are going to use them for their flooring in their house when the time comes. If you're sick of your floors or need a sprucing up, give them a call!

Westwood Flooring, Wilton, CT provided expert and efficient customer service and professional wood flooring and carpet installation. They have QUALITY craftspeople on their team. The wood floor installation team of two arrived promptly at 8 a.m. as scheduled and worked to magnificently install two rooms and a hallway of hardwood flooring--quality, first-rate work from start to finish.
The carpet team of two also arrived as scheduled and did a superb job of installing carpet on the stairs. I would highly recommend Westwood Flooring and Design Centers, Wilton, CT.

My wife and I knew we found solid expertise when we walked in the door and saw the quality of the merchandise and their presentation. We were given expert help in a subject area that neither of us masters. But the real proof of the seriousness and quality of this enterprise was the way a subsequent problem was handled. We ordered a beautiful, thick white carpet for the bedrooms, just what we wanted.
Within a few weeks, the wool began to ball up in what is termed "tumbleweeds." This was not fluff that comes off a new wool sweater. We asked what was wrong, and were told to turn off the beater on the vacuum. It progressively worsened, but we were busy and assumed that the carpet was just being worked in. It was not. Westwood Flooring came out to see, and sure enough it was a manufacturing problem. Photos taken, report filed, and Westwood Flooring stood behind the client - full cost of replacement and moving the furniture is being covered. Yes, there is a fantastic selection of high quality floorings and tiles, and just as important very knowledgeable, helpful, and serious proprietor who truly understands the meaning of client service. What a fantastic experience! Mike is extremely knowledgeable, he helped us choose a Core-Tec floor that would work in our home. Any and all questions/concerns were handled within an hour. Amazing customer service. The entire job was completed within one week. The installation itself only took 12 hours, we couldn't believe we could have a new kitchen/living/dining room done in such a short period of time. We LOVE it!
