Customer service is everything, and John Stacy at Peek's Flooring does it right. From bringing samples by the house when we had a family medical emergency, to following up and smoothing out any wrinkles, there is a reason why we return to John and Peek's Flooring. They did an amazing job on a larger project last year, so he was the first person I called when we needed to change out just a single room this year. Big or small jobs, they are all treated as a priority.

Last year we bought carpet from Phong at Peek Flooring for our entire house. He was kind for my many questions and uncertainties, super knowledgeable about the products we were choosing from, and amazing throughout the entire experience of selection and installation. One year later I called to ask how to prepare our carpet for a new puppy and again I experienced the same quality service. We will go to Peek for all our flooring needs!

Do not consider this company for any job. They promise you the moon but, once they have performed sub-standard workmanship, they claim they lived up to their contract and go silent. They can't seem to keep an appointment and their customer service is non-existent. Their workers only speak Spanish and only what their supervisor tells them to do. Save yourself a lot of headaches and use another company. You eventually will need another company to fix Peek's screw-ups.

Totally impressed with the value and quality of the carpet recently installed by Peeks in Grapevine. FORGET ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE April 27, 2021 In 2013 I purchased new carpet from Peeks Carpet-Richardson to be installed in 3 bedrooms, partial hallway and bathroom. Six years later I noticed the carpet needed to be re-stretched in the hallway and bathroom. Gilbert did a good job and told me that it had been incorrectly installed. In 2020 I noticed the same situation in two bedrooms and getting worse.

Of course, the Coronavirus hit and I had to wait to deal with it. In 2021 I contacted Phong at Peek Carpet-Richard and sent him pictures of the two problem areas. Eventually, he gave me a quote $125 per room but, to re-stretch the carpet "correctly" ALL the furniture and breakables needed to be removed from each room. I told him I wouldn't be able to move the furniture but I could remove all the breakable, etc.

He quoted me $75 per room to move the furniture for a $400 total. However, since the $75 per room fee was eventually waived, I agreed to $250 for the two rooms assuming the rooms still had to be empty to "correctly" re-stretch the carpet. Finally a date and time of 8:00 to 12:00 am was assigned and I spent two days packing all the breakable and moving small items out of both rooms.

On the appointed day I had not heard from them by 11:00 am so I called. I was informed the installers had mistaken gone to another job first and could come at 1:00. I was LIVID because I had waited for hours and no one bothered to call me so I told him no they can come tomorrow at 1:00 pm. The next day the installers showed up at 11:00, took one look at the rooms, said they didn't need to move out the furniture, and were done in less than 30 minutes for $250 worth of work.

Run! The salesman was in his phone and the computer while I was ordering them paying for my carrier, so he missed that I had changed my mind and wanted the same carpet in the connected rooms. For just $500 More, they could get me the carpet I thought i had already ordered. After i gave the go ahead to install the carpet they brought (which is what they were also installing in the three bedrooms) he called back and said he'd see if he could do better on the price for the carpet i wanted.

But it was too late. Then he didn't account for the repeat in the pattern, in the living room and had to reorder. This caused us to have to wait eight more days for the job to be done. Eight days with everything from those rooms stacked in another room. Salesman told me they "expedited" the shipping, but it's the same amount of time he told me when we ordered it the first time.

That installation is scheduled for next Tuesday. The parent company texts info, but had the wrong address the first time. The text said the installers would call to let me know when between 8 am and 12 noon they'd arrive. No call. They showed up. One spoke zero English, and the head barely spoke it. They need to have at least one crew member who is fluent.

We ordered tile from them and the installation was scheduled for last Saturday. The tile didn't arrive, which we understand with with the extreme cold here in the south last week. The salesman tried to make like he was doing me a favor by installing in a Saturday as I requested as "we don't install tile in Saturday's as it's a two day job".

But I didn't request Saturday. They called me with the install date. So here it is, Sat. I got the parent company text yesterday, reminding me of the installation between 8 an a d 12 noon, with a different wrong spelling of my address. At 7:12 am I got a call saying he would be here in *garbled* minutes. I asked, did you say two or twenty. He then said five.

I looked out my door and he was already here. The area wasn't ready so I woke my husband to move the last of the stuff. I know this is not easy to follow, but everything was happening at once. These are only the major frustrations I've had dealing with Peek's. If we hadn't already paid for the tile, we'd have cancelled the tile job from them. Avoid them. Oh yeah, one of their guys peed all over the toilet seat. What male doesn't lift the seat in someone else's house? Especially a customers?

We couldn't be happier with John and his whole team at Peek's Flooring. Their level of service was incredible. We ended up having a small issue that was due to the manufacturer, and you can really tell the quality of an organization by how they handle the tough times more than when everything runs perfectly. Peeks is now owned by S and H Flooring, the type of large company that doesn't care about its customers. The installation was subcontracted. No managerial supervision over the installation. The installers broke our furniture, but once you sign the release saying the flooring was installed, you also release S and H from ALL liability. I will never use Peeks again, and urge everyone to avoid them.

As soon as we arrived we were greeted by their knowledgeable staff and friendly employees. They came to my home and measured, and soon after quickly installed the carpet and we couldn't have asked for an easier more professional service from start to finish. I've recommended my neighbors and they've been highly pleased as well. We have had the carpet 6+ months now and still looks brand new. Don't go anywhere else.

If I could put zero stars I would. Peeks Richardson does not stand behind their products or work. The laid engineered hardwood floors in our bedroom. Within months the floor started bubbling up. As I read now they should have laid a moisture barrier which they never suggested to do. My dream floor is ruined and they won't do anything to make it right. Run don walk from this store.

I highly recommend this place! Amazing customer service, very knowledgeable of their products and listen well to your needs. We were referred by our friend that lives in Waco. We live in Austin drove up for the day. I'm so glad we did. They were so helpful. I've attached pictures of carpet we pulled up and the flooring John helped me choose. I was vacillating from tiles or vinyls. LOVE the results.

So beautiful. We picked out armstrong flooring look at attachment. Flooring was delivered within two days. John help pick out some fabulous rug which we our doing custom carpet under our bed. What superb service, selection and pricing. Thank you Peek's Floor Co. Loved the whole process. Felt confident when i left your place vs. other places i left feeling confused. Tremendous experience!

I don't just post reviews when something goes wrong, I also take the time to write glowing reviews when I receive good service. Having said that. Peeks does not pay attention to detail which causes them to make careless mistakes. They have to be micro-managed every step of the way and the customer service is horrible. They are nice enough when you get them on the phone, but they don't follow through, call you back or deliver as promised.

Working with them was a horrible experience as they are completely incompetent. You have a lot of choices in Dallas. Do yourself a favor and select a company where there is less risk for enduring this extraordinary aggravation.

Prompt, professional and worked with us on price. I needed a quick install, called around and spoke with Ed at Peek's. He offered to get out for a site inspection next business day (called on Friday, he offered Monday appt). Installed the carpet that weekend. Great experience!

"Lifetime Warranty" is an absolute scam! We were told the Lifetime Warranty would cover "anything" (including stains).we later found out it doesnt cover anything. With 3 kids the lifetime, cover anything warranty was very appealing and worth paying for a higher priced carpet. We had our carpets professional cleaned annually but after 3 years our carpet developed a bad "dark"/traffic stain in our bedroom.

It took 2 months of weekly follow-ups before they finally sent out an independent inspector to look at the carpet. He was not allowed to talk about what he was doing or looking for, closed the door so I could not be in the room with him and 2 hours later appeared and said Peeks would contact me. Peeks followed up to tell me the inspector did not find any "manufacture defeats" therefore our warranty claim would be denied.

The fact that they were looking for and only going to replace or fix the carpet based on "manufacture defeats" completely contradicts what we were told when we made our purchase. Either the warranty is a scam or we were bamboozled during purchase.either way, not a company I want to do business with.

We needed both wood and carpet flooring in several rooms and they did a great job. They have a large selection and they'll find you the best prices. Their installers were efficient and professional. I had old ceramic tiles and light brown carpet in my home that was aged and hard to clean. I went to Peek's and met John Stacy who showed me a new product that would work perfect in my home. After sending Ragan to measure the area that I at first wanted to replace, John gave me such a good price that I decided to replace more of the tile! John really made the installation of my flooring happen.

He was involved with arranging the Tile Busters company to come to remove the old ceramic tile - DUST FREE! He also made sure that everything was installed to my wishes. He checked in on the project and he was always available for my calls. I now have a home with the easy care floor that I wanted. It looks awesome!

Measure twice! We bought a new house and were referred to Peek's Carpet for some new carpet. It started out well enough, Bill explained the carpet types and was personable. We made a selection and he went out to measure the house. We were not there. I was shocked when I got the estimate because my house had grown 224 square feet, amazing! Could this be my lucky day?

I had to find out for myself. I purchased a new tape measure to be sure because mine must have been broken. I called the old owner again and asked if I could stop by (they had a lease back) to remeasure. It turns out that Bill's tape measure had not magically grown my house. I spoke with Bill and he explained that his funny math had to account for going under the baseboards etc., soI added a couple of % to my already rounded up measurements to account for the baseboards.

Well we ended up agreeing to use my numbers saving myself hundreds of dollars and we got the carpet installed yesterday. In the end I got a bunch of extra carpet and the guy still tried to stick me with a higher bill than we agreed upon. If you want to play hardball and get jacked around then definitely shop at Peek's!

The summer of 2015 was the summer of carpet shopping for us. We shopped the big stores, wholesalers, local shops, etc. Ended going with Peeks and Bill F. Prices wise, Peeks was very competitive. Bill was able to secure the color and brand of carpet we wanted in an expedited manner which was important as we were expecting the arrival of a baby girl.

The install went very well. It took a little longer then they thought since they had to tighten down the sub flooring to address squeeky floors. Installers were professional and carefully moved our furniture.

We hired peeks on arapaho and 75 in richardson to redo our floors a few years ago and the experience was so awful and invasive I will spend the rest of my life trying to shut this buisness down. They robbed us, literally. The installation took a few days and sometime during the process they decided to help themselves to my jewelry box and took my grandmother's wedding ring, my class ring, every piece of jewelry my dad ever gave me, everything my husband had ever given me over the past 20 years and an 8,000 original drawing by Mike Giant.

I can't tell you which hurts the most. everything had more sentimental value than I've been able to process. I called the police and reported the robbery and left an angry message to peeks. Nothing was ever recovered. The monetary value of what was taken doesn't come near the sentimental loss I've had to endure. I will never be able to recover those items, and it hurts knowing they were the only things of value I had to pass on to my daughter. the only thing that gives me the slightest bit of comfort is costing them buisness. Please don't go to peeks carpet and flooring. It will cost you more than you've ever paid for anything in your life.

Peeks Carpet in Richardson off 75 and Arapahoe lost my business during the 5 minutes we were there today. The salesman was incredibly rude and condescending. He was showing us things I repeatedly told him I didn't want and tried to correct me when I told him what I did want. We've been to several title stores during an extensive home remodel project and this was beyond the worst we've encountered.

By the way, we wondered when we drove up why the parking lot was completely empty of cars, on a Saturday when they had a "sale sale sale" going on, according to signs in their windows. Now we know why.

My family and I visited the Frisco, TX location and was treated very rudely and racist by the sales associate today. He literally told us that we should shop somewhere else because they only sold name brand and insinuated we couldn't afford it. This only happened after showing him pictures of our 3400 square foot house and where we wanted to place hardwood on 900 square feet of it. He was totally shocked and immediately started saying condescending statements. I will NEVER EVER shop at this place AGAIN and WARN everyone to stay away from this place.

My husband and I cannot thank Bill Ferron of Peek's Flooring for helping us with our flooring needs. When we walked into the store on Saturday afternoon, we told the sales person that we were moving to California and were just there to look at carpet samples. As we floundered to find what we had seen online, Bill came to our rescue. He not only explained the types of carpets available, but also the differences in quality and warranties.

Then I asked him about vinyl options for our bathrooms as hardwood floors are not allowed by our HOA. He showed us some incredible alternatives in laminate and vinyl. My husband and I left that day thinking -- Wow, that was a really nice guy who went out of his way to be both helpful and informative. He's a great salesman but more importantly a great person who is helpful -- which as a salesman will ultimately bring Peek's Carpet more business!
