We recently had Michael Phillips install hardwood floors in our home and they exceeded their well known reputation as being the best in the business! Our floors are absolutely gorgeous and we could not be happier. They installed all the floors on our 1st floor in 2006 and now our 2nd floor in 2021. Amazing!

I'm sure this company does excellent work but I must comment negatively on professionalism. Had them come out about a week and a half ago to give an estimate on redoing my wood floors. Received some education on what realistic expectations are (which I appreciate, my home is 100 years old). However, it has now been over a week and I have no received any additional contacts with estimates.
I am a young person, so I'm starting to believe that he either didn't believe the job was worth his time or that I wouldn't be able/want to pay his estimate (I've heard he's a little pricey but good work is good work). Either way, I will be taking my business elsewhere, and he can continue to work on his "8 million dollar homes" which I'm sure are more worth his time.

I'll try to keep this review in perspective since some people love this company and others do not. In my case, I have left messages with the office staff several times since last Summer regarding the flooring which Michael Phillips installed. I never have received a callback or the information I requested, which was pretty basic. So my comment here is that you might be lucky enough to get some attention from them once, but inconsistency in Customer Service is a serious deficiency. So I would not rely on this firm for any long-term important matters.such as a floor installation.
