It was a trial for sure. They refinished oak flooring throughout my home. Had to redo the first two rooms since they didn't listen to what I was expecting. Second time around was much better but still lacking. Second 1/2 of job turned out better. Third part was installing LVT in bathroom which was a disaster. My daughter, who had no experience and fired them from a second attempt, did an absolutely perfect job of repairing/replacing sub floor and underlayment. Also, wouldn't show up when they told me they would. Left a terrible mess in my basement and driveway. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I have had Dinsmore flooring install over three floors for us in the last year with overwhelming satisfaction. Each time their crew reached out during the process to ask how things were going and if we were happy. The work quality was great and they met the schedule as promised. I would highly recommend this company

Dinsmore Flooring did an amazing job on my moms kitchen hardwood floor. They made them look like new again. Their guys where very professional moved the appliances out of the kitchen. Then taped everything up and they put everything back where it belong. I can't Express enough on what an amazing job they did. I would definitely recommend them to all my friends and family.

Dinsmore refinished our upstairs hardwoods after a furniture delivery company dragged a terrible scratch along it with a box spring. They were always prompt and courteous. They applied stain by hand, which I thought was impressive and managed to take off the quarter round without messing up the baseboard paint. They put down three coats of high quality Masterline poly. I thought Jeff was great at communication and very helpful.

We bought a house with great pine flooring under the carpet. We hired Jeff to sand and restain the flooring. Jeff was a horrible communicator from the beginning. We took out a wall and I found matching floor boards to splice it all in to look half way natural. Jeff went off script and tore out existing flooring to install this new flooring perpendicular to the existing flow.

His own guys said that it wasn't gonna look good and instead of calling us to double check, he installed it. I came back to check it out and it was the most atrocious thing I've seen. I called Jeff and had to wait 2 days for someone to come fix it. Plus, we had to pay MORE money to have it done the way he said it would be done in the first place. After only a couple weeks of the product being finished, the wood puddy between newly installed section was coming up at a rapid pace. Jeff said it's probably because the wood hadn't dried and was now shrinking. *The wood was well over 100 years old and had been stored in a dry barn the past 30 years*.

To their credit, they came down a few different times to try caulking and matching the stain to no avail. The crew also got stain on our newly stoned fireplace and they couldn't fix that either. So that's still an issue. It actually got worse each time they tried fixing it. Weeks after the finished product, I noticed tons of scratches from our dogs toenails.

Even the threads from our area rug was leaving dents in the wood. Jeff blamed all of that on it being pine. He said it would be an issue if the scratches were getting through the stain. I pointed out a spot and he shrugged it off. We have dozens of scratches through the stain now and it's not even been a year. We asked for a refund of some sort and we don't hear back from Jeff and his company anymore. The guy is a sham and a crook in my opinion. Do not hire his company.

We recently had Dinsmore flooring replace the carpet in our living room and dining room with wood floors. It turned out excellent! On time neat and courteous. Jeff listened to my needs and pointed me in the right direction. We will have them do other work in the spring.

The work they did at our house turned out terrible. Our contractor who hired them was embarrassed with the job they did. Talked to owner of Dinsmore multiple times and he agreed to come make it look better and never showed up. Our contractor fixed it himself (he's not a floor guy) and did 10x better work than Dinsmore did. Would not recommend Dinsmore from our experience with them.

We originally hired Dinsmore Flooring to install a wood floor in our kitchen, we were so impressed with the quality of workmanship that we hired them for a second project tiling our bathroom. Mr Dinsmore was very helpful in selecting the proper tile, overseeing the job and answering all our questions. Dinsmore Flooring also has a carpet cleaning service which we have used several times - the carpet looks like new! We highly recommend them to all our friends and will use them for future flooring needs.

Contacted Dinsmore Flooring to take a look at the flooring in my house which I had recently purchased. The bamboo floor has started separating in areas and looked to be pulling apart. The former home owners informed me that the floor had been purchased at Lumber L. and installed by Dinsmore and was still under warranty. Set up an appointment and Jeff Dinsmore and he came out to take a look. Showed him the problem areas and asked him what could be done to fix the issues.

He proceeded to blame everyone but his company and that the former home owners had sabotaged the floor in some way. He threw everyone that I mentioned under the bus but himself. Reminded me of a child. After he settled down he said a repair could be done at my cost. Reluctantly I made an appointment which he never showed for. No surprise there. Lumber L. was absolutely zero help as well. Had another flooring contractor look at my floor and he attributed the problems to bad craftsmanship on the install.

Will have to pull up the entire floor and reinstall to correct the problems. Save yourself the headache. BUYER BEWARE. Response: The flooring was done in 2013 by Dinsmore and purchased in 2013 from Lumber L. The issue was spotted in the home inspection and the owner mentioned the floor had a warranty. My mistake to think one could contact the installer for repairs.

Like stated Lumber L. was contacted and was "ZERO" help. This is due to the fact that L.L. will warranty through their service but the buyer has to pay an outside company (chosen by L.L.) to address any warranty issues. The cost being very expensive. This is asinine. A non-transferrable warranty? When does the BS stop? The floor was not even a year old.

It really is of no consequence. Like stated before the repairs handled by another company. And just a quick thought. When dealing with a customer it may benefit you (Dinsmore) to behave in a professional manner. Like I stated before. BUYER BEWARE. Non-transferrable warranty.that's priceless! LOL

We had bought the wood from Lumber Liquidators, they had two installers that they work with, but Dinsmore was the only one that did both hardwood and ceramic tile. Although the work was completed on time and at the cost quoted to us, the issue I have is with the quality of the installation. After the floors were installed the first thing that happened was the hardwood was scratched from them putting the Stove and refrigerator back in place, my wife even told them that we had pads to slide the appliances on they refused to use them.

Then I saw the trim work looked as it was done by a child, uneven cuts, gaps and corners not being cut at 45 Degree angles. Then I noticed a 1/4 inch gap in a board, turns out I can slide it back and forth, it is not even nailed down. ( this is not a laminate floor, it is 3/4" hardwood ) then onto the noises and creeks, you can't walk across the floor with out it making noise.

I decided to let the floor settle for a while before I called to complain to see if it got any better which it did not. I called in October and requested that the owner Jeff Dinsmore to come out and look at it, which he was only 3 hours late from the time he said he would be here. He blamed all of the noise problems on the underlayment we had chose, Lumber liquidators sold us their "premium underlayment" because I stated I did not want the floor to make noise, Jeff stated that they only use felt, but L L wants them to sell the expensive stuff because they make more money on it, who is the customer here me or L L well I am, and if the underlayment was an issue it should have been brought up with me BEFORE I spent 4800.00 on flooring installed. Jeff stated that he would have someone come out and fix all the issues, two months later we have heard nothing from Dinsmore Flooring.

I am tempted to pay someone to replace all the flooring correctly and sue Dinsmore for the costs. I hope that this review will help someone from throwing good money away using Dinsmore flooring
