We have been faithful customers for years. Great pricing. Low overhead. Very good selection of carpeting. They stand behind their products and installation.

Good products, and maybe good service.or. I have been using Carpet Town for many years, and I have always liked their prices and service. Tom R. was my go-to salesman, but he has retired. I had carpet installed in two rooms of a rental apartment about two years ago, and recently it bunched up by a doorway in the first room. The renter at the time is still there, and never had a problem before like this in 20 years.

I am getting charged a "minimum charge" of $300 to have the carpet re-stretched in this 11.5'x12' room. That seems a little steep for something that feels us likely to be caused by them in the first place.

It had been years since I shopped there for carpeting. Kristin N. was our sales rep and she was great. We first looked at remnant carpet rolls for a basement project. They had some great options available but there was not a large enough remnant for the room. We moved on to a quality carpet that was priced well. The installation was top-notch. They worked with my elevated basement flooring, two doorways, and 15' of transition where laminate meets carpet. Perfection.

They also carpeted a stairwell and it looks great. There are so many samples at their shop, that it's worth the trip over to their store. Big box stores just don't have the selection that Carpet Town does.

Johnathan was very nice and helpful. Carpet turned out very beautifully. They made runners out of my left over carpet and 2 custom rugs from their show room carpet.

Poor original experience but management was very open and diligent to receiving feedback. They were able to rectify the errors made.

Our sales person Amanda was very helpful and kind. She set up our measurement appointment in a timely fashion. The gentleman that came out to measure my floors was not wearing a mask. He was very talkative and recommended many things that I did not want. He had said nothing about the thickness of the carpet padding or the carpet itself. The three men that came out to install my carpet were also not wearing masks.

The three were there in the morning, two of them left, and then two of them returned much later in the afternoon to finish the job. I thought that was rather strange that all three didn't stay for the entire job. When they were finished, I noticed that the connector piece from my hallway into my bedrooms wasn't nailed down all the way, but when I asked, the guy fixed it by hammering it in more.

Then I tried opening and closing my doors and they were very hard to open and close. I had to push my entire body into the door to open it. The guy that installed the carpet had said that sometimes this happens and he just brushed it off. They left. I called the store later that day and spoke with manager Jonathan. He offered to pay for half of the cost of a Carpenter to come out and trim the doors so they would open.

He got it taken care of pretty quickly, and said that he would contact me for the bill. A week went by and I hadn't heard from him. I got a call late on Friday from the secretary Donna asking for payment for an outstanding balance. I called the store back Monday, and it turns out there was no communication from Jonathan to her regarding my bill.

The balance that she was referring to was the full amount, and Jonathan had said I only had to pay half the amount. I told Donna this, and she took half the bill off and I was able to pay only half the bill. All in all, the carpet is very nice, but the communication is very poor. I was not happy with the communication and their disregard to the pandemic.

I had a very nice salesman (Dan) did a great job guiding me to the flooring I desired. He worked up the quote, make a few corrections.owned his adding mistake. Then I had a nice man come out to measure, then they sent out Mike Becker to install. He did an AMAZING job! OMG my floor look beautiful! Meticulous detail, he is a perfectionist.and my floor looks FANTASTIC!

Very trustworthy, and prompt went beyond the expectations. I HIGHLY recommend this company! I will use them to do all my future work.and hopefully get Mike Becker as the installer :-)

Carpet Town got the job done for my old outdated linoleum floors in my kitchen and bathroom! Tom R. from sales worked hard to find the right product that would fit my project. Mike Becker was an excellent contractor/ installer. He turned my old beat up floors into a showcase type setting in 2 days! Would definitely consider them for my next floor, window or door project.

Recently purchased our flooring from Carpet Town and could not be happier with how it went from start to finish. Our sales person was extremely knowledgeable, patient and nice. Installation went very well, clearly very seasoned installers. We've since received several compliments and I would recommend Carpet Town to anyone looking for flooring. We will be making future purchases!

Had carpet installed today told them about a problem with closing doors when we ordered the carpet then after they had my money they tell me they have a carpenter who could fix the problem for the money we paid they should of sent the carpenter with the carpet installers speaking of who left one of my cable boxes in the bathroom and the other one in the hallway and was told that it would be taken into consideration on my next order with them on the cable box situation alone there should of been some type of compromise but again they had are money and of course they couldn't do anything for us I intentionally left out the correct punctuation.

Because I'm done with carpet town period. Oh yeah the carpet is nice quality but I'll pay 10 more before I ever do business with them again. It's a reason that they only have 3 stars on their reviews in my opinion and from what I read they don't handle problems well especially when they have your money. Take into consideration on the next order it will be cold day in hell. Im pissed and to think I was going to let them do my hallway not in this life.

Original review below. (Someone from the business commenting reminded me that I needed to update this.) My review below with Josh remains. The people who installed the carpet on the other hand, i would give a measly 1 star to. It was a husband and wife. Unfortunately I can't remember their names but I am very disappointed with them. First off, the guy was pretty short with me.

It was an early morning install and I felt like he woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Just slightly on the rude side. We had a funky shaped room that needed to be carpeted and my husband wanted the carpet cut at a 90° angle at the hardwood. I explained that to them and they said they got it. Went back upstairs to check on them and they were installing it completely wrong.

I explained it again he said if my husband wanted it a specific way, then he should have taped it off. Well had we known the carpet installers didn't know what a 90° angle was, we would have! Better yet, we probably would had asked for someone else to install! Unfortunately, the carpet is not at the right angle which is pretty annoying to look at everyday since the lines are off from the tile in the nearby bathroom.

Just kind of ruins the flow. Behind the radiator, under the window, they cut the carpet short so there's a gap brethren the baseboard. Also annoying I look at but luckily we don't have to see it everyday. Finally, they just THREW the reminding carpet in our closet with our clothes, even on some, and didn't mention it to me. Just left it there.

Love the carpet just really disappointed with the install. Original post: My carpet is on order but I feel the need to write a review prior. I'm new to WI and didn't know much about the local carpet stores. I spent 4 days going to stores looking for the exact carpet I had visioned in my head. After dealing with an extremely rude carpet store (Floor Mart in Tosa) I went into this place.

The greeter was very sweet and hooked me up with Josh and let me tell you, that guy and his service was a breath of fresh air. I told him my vision and he walked around to show me every single square pattern carpet then showed me every color until I found the perfect one. Highly recommend this place. Josh esp!

Had a good experience working with Tom. We shopped around and felt CT gave us a good price. Installers were polite, competent, and neat. We are very happy with our new carpets.

I was very happy with the way that Jonathan explained all the different types of carpet. I was able to find one that I loved which I could not find at other places. The install went very well. They were able to accommodate an unexpected family emergency and change the date for us last minute. And after 2 months I am still quite happy with the product and the process and would definitely not hesitate to use them again!

I have to hand it to the folks at Carpet Town. They did an outstanding job tearing out the old carpeting and replacing it with wood-style laminate. I had the living room, hallway and three bedrooms done. It was done on a Saturday and Sunday. It was actually an advantage to have it done it two days, as to move some of our stuff into the rooms that were done, clearing the way for the remainder to be finished.

As for the price.highly competitive. We were not going for the lowest price, but rather the best value. Turns out Carpet Town had both! I highly recommend considering them for your next flooring job.

We just had vinyl take the place of the icky kitchen/ hallway carpet (who ever thought kitchen carpeting was an intelligent idea?!). We rent, and since we had the kitchen and hallway cleared for reorganizing and cleaning purposes we asked the landlord to have it replaced. We offered to check around for prices, making it easier on our very nice landlord and letting us find a pattern we liked at the same time.

The salesman was helpful and gave a very close estimate to what the final cost actually ended up being. After the visit, they sent someone out to take the precise measurements so they could make the estimate. He was the silent "gets his work done and leaves" kind of guy. No complaints about him, just not very sociable. Today, two young men came to install the flooring.

They were very polite and did a wonderful job with the installation. While working, they listened to their music with headphones instead of a blaring radio which was quite nice. They moved the refrigerator out of the way for us and put it back in place when they were done. It does cost $30 per appliance to have it moved, but the money is worth every penny; they ended up having to remove the handles as well as some of the door molding in order to get it through the door. Carpet Town does not charge for removal/ reinstallation of the shoe molding along the wall they have to take out during the installation.

Some places do charge for this. Only one little complaint, not enough to knock off a star but worth mentioning: dudes, after all these generations of women NAGGING you to put the toilet seat down you have not figured out how to do this! I had to put it down. twice. Otherwise, very good service. They have done other work in this building over the years, and anyone who has lived here has loved the results. except for that icky kitchen carpet (but that's not Carpet Town's fault, that's just a bad idea on the buyer's end). Highly recommended.
